Our proximity to the Bard College main campus affords our students a rare window onto college life. Each year we bring our students to attend presentations and conferences at the The Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities.
We bring students to local cultural centers and events and invite local scholars, artists, and authors to work with our students; all free of cost to our students and families. Recent trips include the Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site, the Tenement Museum, the DIA Beacon Art Institute, the Culinary Institute of America, Montgomery Place at Bard College, The New York State Museum, the Parsonage Archeological project in Germantown, and more.

Our students qualify for unique scholarships at Bard College including the ECO (Early College Opportunity) scholarship offered by Bard College. Only students from Bard’s Early College programs are eligible to apply for ECO scholarships, which are based on both merit and financial need and cover full tuition for four years at Bard.
Project-based learning opportunities for civic engagement. As part of their college preparation process, students undertake a year-long project in which they identify areas of need within their local community and craft actionable plans of improvement to address them.
Finally, our students are eligible to publish their work in the the Sequence Journal and appear on the Bard Sequence Seminar Podcast to highlight the amazing things they are working on and gain experience going through the process of publishing their work and putting it out in the public eye.
